As I write these lines, the didgeridoo is still a niche instrument. At best, it’s little known. At worst, it’s misunderstood and loaded with prejudice. But beyond these two cases, we have to admit that our favourite tube doesn’t attract the interest of the general public. Far be it from me to lash out at this “ignorant mass” who couldn’t appreciate the qualities of a brilliant but misunderstood instrument. My point is aimed rather at ourselves, didgeridoo players. The didgeridoo has evolved, sure. But there’s still a long way to go to make it interesting… And that’s exactly what I’d like to talk to you about. Enjoy the episode (in French)!
