At 19, Adèle Blanchin left her native Picardy to settle in Paris. She would quickly come across the didgeridoo along the way. What followed was a great adventure that took her from the forecourt of the Pompidou Centre, where she played for several years to earn a living, all the way to the United States on tour with her duo at the time, “Adèle et Zalem”.
In this interview, Adèle tells us about her life journey, her bond with the didgeridoo and her place in the very male world we live in (and not just the didgeridoo world!). In this time we spent together, we also talk about her relationship with music. In fact, it was while preparing her upcoming album that she accepted my invitation for this interview!
